Banh Bot Loc is a Vietnamese dish. Let's see how the Blogger Alalay, from Alalay Kitchen, prepares it.
1. Mince or blend the pork, then stir fry with oil and shitake mushrooms. Season with fish sauce, soy sauce, MSG, salt, and ground black pepper.
2. Then make the dough by adding very hot water to the flour, then knead well (if it's too hot, use a wooden spoon first). After that, divide into small balls and fill them inside with the stir fried pork that you prepared before. Make a half-moon shape.
3. Before steaming, brush oil on the banana leaves, put all small half-moon dough on banana leaves, and bring to steam for about 15 minutes. Then take out and sprinkle with fried shallots and serve with sweet-sour and peanut sauce.
